I couldn't remember who might be heading down to Winston-Salem for the Extravaganza, so I have broadcast this to everyone. I tried to call John Hauser, but he was unavailable. The 5:00 PM National Hurricane Center forecast places the remains of Ivan right over the Winston-Salem area at1:00 PM on Saturday. Couldn't be worse timing, as we would be driving west into the weather that morning during Corsa Rossa's planned drive to Elkin and beyond (See map below).
