Status Report on MAARC Website...

There has been slow but steady progress on the new MAARC website. Again, for those who don't know - the old domain name, mid-atlantic-aroc.org, lapsed and was purchased by a domain name scalper. Therefore, the new website is now mid-atlantic-aroc.com.

Right now I have a preliminary blog-style homepage set up, as well as a new interactive club classifieds section and club calendar. The track events info is back up under a link from the blog page as well. The blog page will have current club news/info and feature/tech articles, and all the links to the other sections.

Try out the new classifieds - anyone can submit an ad right online. The club calendar is interactive as well so you can submit an event, however it will not appear immediately on the calendar until approval. Believe it or not there are spammers who have nothing better to do than junk up blogs, classifieds and calendars with bogus entries.

Anyway, this blog will stay as is even though all the club files are now on the club server instead of the personal web space I get from my ISP provider.
