New Restaurant for October 17th Meeting!!!

Those of you at the last monthly meeting will remember that we voted on trying out a new restaurant for the Southside meetings. The new restaurant is Zio’s and it is located about 2 or 3 blocks up from Amalfi’s, right next to the Naro Theater on Colley. For those of you that don’t know, Zio’s is the sister restaurant to Zia Maria at Chicks Beach in Virginia Beach. If you’ve eaten there, the menu and prices are essentially the same. We will not have a separate room, but we will have a corner of the restaurant to ourselves.

Directions: The directions are the nearly the same as to Amalfi’s. The parking situation is a bit tight around the restaurant itself, but they have access to the parking lot belonging to Blair Middle school, which is behind the Dairy Queen across the street from Zio’s. As you are coming up from Amalfi’s on Colley Ave., make a left on Spotswood Ave. and the parking lot is almost immediately on your right (behind the Dairy Queen and across from the school). Again, Zio’s is on the corner of Colley and Spotswood, next door to the Naro Theater (1517 Colley Ave).
