A Festival for the Alfisti...

I know a lot of the faithful are probably festivaled out by now, but Andy and I are going to another one this weekend. We went to it last year on our own and had a nice time. It's at the Chippokes State Park near Surry and it has an old-fashioned holiday and crafts theme. No wine, but lots of good stuff to eat.

Mike and Joanna are coming along and anyone else interested can meet us at Cosmo's around 11:30 - 12:00 (we'll leave at noon) this Saturday, 29 October. No car displays and no rain, just a nice drive to a country festival. Pack a lunch and take a hike - it's a state park after all! Admission is $5 for adults, kids under 12 and parking free. If it rains Saturday, we will go the same time on Sunday.
